Proof is in the pitching
Bullpen could make the difference against Tar Heels

The focus will be on the mound tonight at Dick Howser Stadium where Bryan Henry and Robert Woodard - with a combined 57 career victories - will start.

But what happens after Henry and FSU's other starting pitchers leave the mound this weekend will likely determine the outcome of this much-anticipated series between Collegiate Baseball's No. 1 FSU and No. 2 North Carolina.

FSU associate head coach Jamey Shouppe would love to see starters Henry, Michael Hyde and Ryan Strauss go seven innings or more. But that has happened only nine times in 32 starts among them.

Enter FSU's deep and talented bullpen.
