The geographical core of CUSA is

Memphis
Southern Miss.
UAB
Tulane
Tulsa
Rice
SMU
Houston

From budgets to stadiums, academics and traditions Rice, SMU, and Tulane are far better to be associated with then WKU, MTSU, and Troy.

It would make more sense for Memphis and Southern Miss. to stay in CUSA and expand with more basketball oriented schools like a W.Kentucky if ECU or UCF left to build the conference together geographically.

I'll get straight to the point. I think you're an assh*le. Every opportunity you get to degrade our friends in CUSA you take it. What I can't understand is why. None of the schools you claim to be a fan of have any history with the programs in CUSA, so what's your problem? Your condescending attitude toward anyone in CUSA is sickening and I for one have grown tired of it.

cardless birdie brain:This proposed conference is as funny as ND conference that was recently proposed by other bird brains on the board.It as funny as many more new conferences that have included umass or temple in the BE.Its nice regionalized grouping.The rest of cusa in the west could join with the wac and mwc.its also as funny as having the BE split for the benefit of the cusa leftovers.Its much funnier than getting ND out of the BE because they will not play every school in BE football.Those who are hitting the bottle think the cusa leftovers should enter the BE.
