Taylor Bennett taking the field will be the most noise mustered from a GT crowd since early November!

Every pass I see will be accompanied by an angelic chorus of
"HAAAAAAALLELUJAH! HAAAAAAALLELUJAH!
HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! HAAAAAALEEEEEEEELUJAHHHHH!"

I came over here to ask if this was a good thing or a bad thing.

It seems to be the same attitude here as the GT fans I've talked to here in Atlanta.

He talks ridiculous volumes of smack.

He doesn't even acknowledge those who have supported him despite huge amounts at adversity at Yellow Jacket Alley. He won't look at any of the fans... give 'em a high five... nothing.

Worst of all, the team has mutinied on him.

Good riddance.

To a certain extent yes. I was on Academic Probation more times than I care to count during my career at GT, so I know how it feels. I hate to see any player out there end their career like this. He'll never be able to escape his last two games, he can't go out there and prove some people wrong (though too many are upset at 0-for-UGA anyway).

At the same time, he's in his fourth year at GT. If you can't make the grade at that point, something is horribly wrong.

I do think this is best for the team though. After seeing everyone's reactions on the offense after UGA and WF, the offense has no confidence in him at all, and neither do most of the fans. I'm sure the defense has numerous things to say about him as well.

This gem, from the Wake Forest Scout board...
Quote:His lack of height made it difficult for him to see the professor over the students in front of him, and on tests he tended to let his pencil dance around too much causing him to miss over half of the assigned bubbles on the Scantron fill-in form.

Uh oh... I hear the fans in Morgantown, hoping that RB will be let off the hook, are lighting couches in prayer. 04-jawdrop

Now you just need to hire a real OC so you don't have to put up with Pat Nix's playcalling anymore.
