Reggie
I think the UGA fans chanting that sums it up nicely. As soon as UGA began driving to go ahead, I said we'd end up driving with under 2 minutes left ... needing a TD ... and Reggie would make an appalling error.

Somebody should not be gainfully employed from his utter lack of improvement in 4 years.

If Taylor is SO BAD that he can't sniff a snap all season ... even when Reggie can't hit anything that's not a screen pass ... we're going to suck something awful next season.

Reggie has caused more heartburn, frustration, and disgust than any other player in GT football history.

The depressing thing is... even if he continues this sleep walking straight through the end of the season.... Taylor still won't see a snap.

By the way....... no Georgia Tech head coach has ever lost to UGA his first 5 years. Does not bode well for the future.

I am also left speechless than the Tech players seem to value the ACC-CG much much more than this one. 01-wingedeagle

And lastly..... Does Reggie get to suffer the B*** L**** fate? I think so.

Reggie's completion percentage is lower for the 4th consecutive year.

His stats are (you ready for this?) .....

WORSE than AJ Suggs'

I'm going to miss Reggie. He's been our biggest weapon the last three years.

Ok....I've been in support of Reggie Ball even despite everyone's criticism.

But I'm done. I hate Reggie Ball with the best of them. I would love nothing more than to see Taylor throwing the rest of the season, but, according to Chan the former man, "That's not how we operate."

And I havent seen anyone mention this yet, but what the heck was that fumble all about? There is a pile of people on the ground for like 10 seconds, and suddenly, a player is allowed to reach in and take a downed ball in for a TD?

Blow the damn whistle, geez.

I dont see how the ball was down, it was obviously still rolling around in the pile and it squirted out and he picked it up and ran with it.

No...#73 for us had the ball, and Taylor pulled it out. Taylor even said in the AJC that a Tech guy had it.

THE WORST part..is that a ref was pulling guys off of the pile, and another was signaling "4th down".

What I don't see is how a ball is just "rolling around" under 7-8 guys laying on top of it. More like the ball was being snatched by a bunch of guys laying on the ground (aka, down).

I'm not sure why you are arguing in favor of the refs, when every UGA fan (even the obnoxious woofers) I know laughs and claims luck.

Still bitter maybe? lmfao

I decided to drop by this morning just to see what you guys were up to after this weekend's loss to UGA. I can't believe that I even bookmarked this site but I'm glad I did and it's nice to stop by after all these years. I was reading some of these posts about the game and I can't believe the crap I'm reading about our fumble recovery for a TD. None of the replays showed anyone covering the ball after the fumble. Tony Taylor did NOT say that a GT player had the ball. He said (and I quote), "When they fumbled it, I THOUGHT one of the GT guys got it, then it looked like somebody knocked it out."

Just for clarification purposes, I have attached a picture that was in the AJC Sunday that is the only image of this play that exists, including the replays. It clearly shows the ball sitting on the ground as Tony Taylor is coming in to grab it. It clearly shows that he did not take the ball away from any GT player that had it and it clearly shows that nobody but nobody had this ball in their possession. As a matter of fact the ball was sitting in between a UGA player's feet and no GT player is near the ball. That is why no whistle blew and the picture is a clear indication that the ACC refs on the field got the play right.

Exactly right, YouGeeAye. There's a reason the officials took a second look at it and still decided not to overturn the call. It's obviously a live ball and a legitimate touchdown.
