The CU SID is on top of things as usual regarding the Men's Basketball program. Practise begins Tuesday for 10 days in preparation for games to be played in Montreal Canada at the end of August into September. Don't know who they will be playing just yet but this should be an early indicator of what kind of team they may have this year.

If you're going to call someone out, at least make sure you spell correctly.

Practice.....is that better BC? The SID office still does a poor job, imo and if you are part of the office so be it.

Do a better job of keeping the fan base informed at least with MBB. As with other University sites that I am familiar with they keep the fan base apprised of the activities of the team including player and coaching changes, etc.

As interesting as player changes are (esp roster deletions), those situations might not always merit publicity.

Regarding this tournament in Montreal, I'm curious if there will be other NCAA D-I schools involved, or if we will be playing a bunch of "Guelphs" and "Saskatchewans". Hope they'll publicize the results, and these aren't closed-door scrimmages.

I have been told that CU won both of the two games that they played. Don't know what happened to the third game. I'll try and find out particulars as I receive them.

Uhhh......I think the final score between CU and the Univ of Quebec at Montreal was 82-68. Couldn't tell you who won, though! How do you say "box score" in French?

Campbell won.

My high school French is now 30 years old, but it looks like the Canadians have mastered cliches such as "they gave a good effort, but need to work on chemistry," etc. 03-zzz
