WVU@ Maryland game officially a sellout
For the life of me, I don't understand why UMD would consider dropping WVU. The game is on TV every yr and sold out for both schools almost every yr. UMD doesn't draw that well anyway, so having a sold out game for a Thursday nigh affair is probably big news for them

Terps - West Virginia Matchup Officially a Sellout

COLLEGE PARK - The University of Maryland and West Virginia will play before a sold-out Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium next month, the athletics department announced Thursday.
The Terrapins and Mountaineers are scheduled to play on Thursday, Sept. 13 with kickoff set for 7:45 p.m. (ESPN). It marks the first Thursday night home game for the Terps since Virginia Tech visited College Park in 2005.
Despite the sellout, Terp fans still have a chance to see the game in person as a limited number of tickets are being held in reserve, but only for new season-ticket holders.
Season tickets are still available for as low as $162 and single-game tickets went on sale Monday. Fans may contact the Maryland Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-IM-A-TERP or visit umterps.com for more information.
The Terps opened fall practice on Monday and kick off the regular season on Saturday, Sept. 1 when they play host to Villanova at 6 p.m.

Morgantown and College Park aren't that far apart. It's about the same distance as the distance from Morgantown to Pittsburgh.

It should, Maryland won 9 games last year and are supposed to be much better this season. The game will be at Maryland, and that team will be pumped. It is not going to be an easy game at all.

I think that West Virginia will win like they did last year. It may take longer for them to take control of the game, since the game is at Maryland. But take control they will, even if it takes until the 4th quarter to happen.
