Bulls reach 18,300 season tickets
Bulls Increase Season-Ticket Sales

The Tampa Tribune

Published: August 8, 2007

TAMPA - With the opener against Elon still three weeks away, the University of South Florida already has surpassed last year's season-ticket numbers, USF assistant AD Jim Louk said.

The Bulls have sold about 18,300 season tickets, nearly 1,200 more than last year's 17,166 figure.

This year's numbers rank as the second-most season tickets in program history, only behind the 1997 inaugural season, when USF sold 20,619.

Louk said season-ticket sales 'are still pretty brisk.' The Bulls host Big East preseason favorite West Virginia and defending Big East champion Louisville, along with North Carolina, UCF, Cincinnati and Elon.

Great job Bulls so far. If you guys can beat Auburn, then you would be huge in FLA. I hope the Bulls will be ready for that game.

I agree the team will be ready for that game BUT playing AT Auburn in a televised night game with SEC refs will be very tough.
The Bulls must limit their mistakes and not allow good field position for the Tigers. We will see but we are ALL very excited at seeing were we stand.

Nice job USF--baby steps but positive steps.

I really enjoyed tailgating and watching the game at RayJay last year (despite the score)

FWIW, you guys are probably 7th in seasons sold, I haven't heard a figure from Pitt (so you might be 6th) and Rutgers has dramatically increased there seasons to get above 20k this season.... Nipping at the heels of Cuse our seasons count will be around 25k down from 38k from the McNabb years.
