MHSCard, get over yourself. McConnell looks like a younger version of Jesse Helms. He also shares the same political view as Jesse Helms, which is fine by me. You have posted on this board long enough to know that people's looks are often mentioned. I have seen pictures of several half naked women on this board, which I enjoy by the way! I have also seen pictures of fat & ugly folks posted when posters were trying to be funny. I'm sure Senator McConnell is a fine man, but you don't have to be gay to realize he not very pretty.

Fine if my fellow Cards are going to join in on busting another fellow Card then I guess there is nothing I can say. You win, you guys can talk about men's looks all you want, I am not calling you gay, I am just not going to play along. I just thought this was a sports board, not Paris Hilton's guide to politics.

I am an American before I am a Card fan and I am not going to vote for somebody just because they are a Cardinal graduate.04-cheers

Did not say you should vote for him. I am not even suggesting that you should like his politics in anyway, my point was/is that if you have a problem with his politics that is fine, but don't insult a fellow Cardinal personally. Insult his politics/opinions/points of view all you want but insulting a fellow Card based on his looks is low in my book. Just my opinion. I was trying to take up for him in a personal insult not a political one. And if looks are how you decide your vote or opinion of him then that is shallow, thus my Paris Hilton comment. I don't care if you dog his politics. But making fun of his looks is base, and I will stick up for a fellow Card over a pirate on that matter any day.

The problem with Mitch is he has always campaigned dirt and made unfounded personal attacks on his opponents. You reap what you sew! Lets just say I would not break bread with Mitch! I respect your opinion and I to want to drop this discussion and get back to talking football. 04-cheers

This board never fails to offer comic relief. When people start to take themselves and their opinions too seriously, when they begin to get personal...if you just step back for a moment and look at what is going on, you can't help but laugh out loud.
