Citizen Kane- I found this movie to be the most overrated movie I have ever seen. Didn't care for it one bit.

If you don't get Citizen Kane that is one thing but not realizing the incredible way the movie was filmed is another. The story is great especially since Welles was being dogged by Hearst and under incredible pressure from RKO to not even make the movie. What he ended up with is a masterpiece of movie making.

it isnt the most accessible movie ever, but it is probably the most influential movie since "birth of a nation". every movie shot since has copied Ck in some way....camera angles, lighting, editing style....it was revolutionary in those terms.
