RebelKev Wrote:IMO, your father...if you're telling the truth, is very ashamed of you and your moonbat politics. You are apparently close to Memphis, so I'm assuming he's a Marine...so no DOUBT he's ashamed.
Which goes to prove that you have no idea what your talking about.
My father served in Vietnam in the Army back in the 60s. I have no idea where you came up with the Marines. The closest base to Memphis is a Naval base.
And he and I get along great, even though he's a die-hard conservative and I'm a progressive.
He'd be ashamed of an idiot like you.

Yeah, Millington, where my father, a US Marine, served in the 70's. No idea? Well there's your clue. Yes, it's a Naval Air Station, but there are several Marines posted there.
As for your father being ashamed of me........doubt it.

Stick to posting on the BOTD board. You're useless here.

RE: Would you vote for Bush again
Fact is, only those who are real principled voted against the Patriot Act.
Feingold was the ONLY Senator to vote it down. Ron Paul was among a very very small minority who voted it down in the House. Even Jeff Flake voted for the Patriot Act originally, and he's the only Libertarian in the house not named Ron Paul.

Snappy as usual...
I really wanted to tell you where to stick to posting, but I'm pretty sure you don't provide value anywhere. Could I interest you in suicide? Seems like a win-win for everyone.

It used to be an air base. While the runways are still maintained, it is primarily used as a personel support base.

I was raised in Millington (Navy brat). Millington was a Naval Air Station Memphis. In the early to mid 90's, BRAC moved the Air and techinical schools to Pensacola. Rep. John Tanner (blue dog democrat) worked tirelessly to keep the base open. The base is now home to BUPERS (Bureau of Personnel) and is called Naval Support Activity Mid-South. The federal government sold to the city of Millington the airfield and all the land north of Navy Road. The base is now all of the land south of Navy Road. As a matter of fact, the University of Memphis has converted the Naval Hospital into a satellite campus.
It is a Navy base, but because it is a Navy base and Marines are part of the Navy (I know Marines don't like to it hear) there will almost be Marines on a Navy base. There have always been Marines at Millington.

RE: Would you vote for Bush again
Didn't vote in the poll since I've never voted for Bush, and still wouldn't of course. Would've voted for McCain if he had won primaries instead of Bush. McCain seems to be too close to Bush now though, so I'll probably have to go back to Democrats, if I can find somebody to vote for. If Schwarzenegger was running I might vote for him since he seems half-Democrat now.

RE: Would you vote for Bush again
An Al Gore presidency wouldn't need warrants to track stuff on the internet. He invented it, so he could do whatever he wanted with it. If the choices were still Gore and Kerry, I would still vote for Bush. For one thing, Justices Roberts and Alito will be a gift that keeps on giving for years to come and will undo his dad's biggest mistake, Justice Souter.

The other Greg Childers was asking for some pointers on committing suicide. I was just trying to help. I see he couldn't even do that right.

Maybe if you demonstrated it yourself I might be able to figure it out.
