ND game propopsal
With Notre Dame supposedly scheduling three Big East teams per year, having already signed Rutgers and Pitt to long home/away series, and their reluctance to play the others at all.

How about this proposal for their "barn storming" idea.
Play each of the other Big East teams in succesive years at a "neutral" site. The game will count as a ND home game allowing them to have the game on their national TV network. The Big East team gets 25,000 tickets for the game and gets a flat fee of $ 1mill.

2011 in Orlando plays USF
2012 in Charlotte plays West Virginia
2013 in Boston (Patriots stadium) plays UConn
2014 in Orlando plays Louisville
2015 in New York plays Syracuse
2016 in Cleveland plays Cinncinati.

It meets their third BE game requirement without going away and allows them to televise it. The Big East team gets $1.0 mill, tickets that they could use to tie in to season tix base and national TV audience.

Ok. comments?

Forget it. ND can either join the conference, or go storm all the barns they like. 05-mafia
