RE: UC football has been ranked - a couple of times

On paper, UC lost to Rutgers and USF last year. In reality, they beat both of them handily.
I thought that proved more or less that the Big East is overrated....
WVU, Louisville, Rutgers....you are talking schools that have never been #1 before, in fact never ranked higher than #3.......
That doesn't even come close to making sense, but does show your anti-UC MAC sentiment and jealousy.
As for not being ranked #1, I'm fairly certain being ranked #3 puts you right there in the running at that top. And WVU has played in a title game within the last 20 years.
not a true 1 vs. 2 title game.......wvu was only ranked #3
These days you have to be ranked #2 or better

If WVU had won the game, they were national champs. As it is, you're reduced to arguing technicalities. As I said, your original point was no point at all. Jealousy isn't becoming.

To be fair -- I was at the game, and early on, there was not 28,000 there. I think the OSU bandwagon fans were slow to make there way to Nippert. It filled up a lot more after halftime.
I was at the game as well, and you're exactly right.

If UC ends up being a top 25 team, the question is who are they going to replace?
With only 8 schools, mathematically, it is almost impossible for them to have more the 4 in the top 25.......
Right now you have WVU, Louisville, Rutgers, USF?
On paper, I don't think UC would be that likely to bump one of those top 4.....it would probably be Pitt if anyone.
Why is it impossible to have 5 ranked teams? And why couldn't UC bump Rutgers or USF? Until last year Rutgers and USF weren't even ranked, so it's not like they're staples in the Top 25. Besides, last year UC finished 4th, including beating USF and Rutgers and almost Louisville, so explain how it's impossible for UC to be ranked in the Top 25?

And these days being ranked #3 puts you in position to get a title shot. Florida was #3 until the last day.

Tell that to the SEC.

Your first problem was thinking. You should avoid it at all costs because it will only lead you into trouble. You've already shown you are incapable of intelligent thought. Of course he won't admit it. The worst thing you can do to a moron is question their intelligence.
Now I think I will relegate this fool to the same status as TS2 - non-person.
