Doyel, Trying to Find Something Nice to Say
10. Kansas State: The Wildcats have received a verbal commitment from guard Tyree Evans -- who has been charged with statutory rape and indecent assault, and whose next pre-trial conference is set for June 29. BTWBN. So here's something positive: Big 12 coaches expect Kansas State, which has received an instant recruiting boost from new coach Bob Huggins, to challenge for a spot in the 2007 NCAA Tournament.

Doyel is an a$$, but you have to read that crap just like you have to stare at the scene of an accident!

Did you read some of the posts from readers at the end? Sports writers and fans of other program will go so far out of their way to spew these stereotyped lies about Huggins. They cling to these untruths as if they were gospel. Is everyone so up tight about their own programs that they need a whipping boy? I frequently think so. And now I see some posters on UC's forums that have taken up with this type of crap. How quickly they forget about that 16 years of great basketball at UC or the years and years of Tony Yates and Ed Badger prior to that...

I hear ya. I am very surprised at teh amount of Beacat posters that spew this crap about Huggins now. It is all about the media perception and Doyel has always had it for Huggins like most other media types, including some of the locals here in Cincinnati. Seems as if the Kansas media has treated him pretty well which is a big tur of events.

The worse part about Doyel is that he isnt even a good writer. He doesnt use any good writing techniques or cite any quotes. He just sounds like some random internet flamer. He also only takes the bad out, and leaves out the good. Like how Evans would be innocent if cleared, and him committing isnt official, he just said he wants to play at KSU. That doesnt mean he is going to.

If one of the newspapers or writers starts to turn on K-State, like Howard Richman and the KC Star, they will feel the heat from KSU...administration and fans. It's the fans that love Huggins. The media has no choice but to write positive things about the program or they know they're toast.
