Best Close Conference
Say hypothetically you were in a 12 team conference with all the 1A and 1AA teams that are closest to your campus... Who would have the best conference? Remember, they have to be closest to your campus. The Ville's conference would be pretty weak!

1. Louisville
2. Kentucky
3. WKU
4. EKU
5. Murray St.
6. Morehead St.
7. Cincinnati
8. Indiana
9. Miami (OH)
10. Butler
11. Vanderbilt
12. Ball St.

New England Conference:

UConn
Yale
URI
Brown
Holy Cross
UMass
Central Ct St
BC
Northeastern
Harvard
New Hampshire
Darmouth
(I'm not certain if a few other schools, like Sacred Heart and Fairfield, have low-level 1AA teams) and I'm treating northern New England as closer to UConn than NY metro (army, Fordham, columbia).

Sacred Heart does have football, as does Central Connecticut. Fairfield used to play football but dropped it in 2003.

You get almost a full North Carolina conference. Drop Clemson, Virginia Tech, UVA, & South Carolina.

Your top 5 stay, plus add Elon, NC A&T, Richmond, and Winston Salem St.
