That would surprise me. Jawad doesn't seem like the type to back down from a challenge. Besides, a great point guard can make you look like a star. He has plenty of alley-oops awaiting from Felton next year.

He had it listed on the UNC web site at one point in time I'm not too sure it is still listed there but it was in fact there in his BIO not too long ago...

I had it but never IM'ed him....

And it is Jawad online that Terpy was talking to. I IM'd Jawad. I also met his aunt when I was in Charlotte for the ACC Tournament. He's not such a bad kid after you talk to him. I have no idea if he was just leading Terpy on, but I can tell you that his aunt told a bus full of MD fans that he wanted to leave school and go pro and his mother was trying to talk him out of it. She also said that he was disappointed in D'oh over some broken promises.

I wanted to very nicely tell this lady who was obviously new to the college basketball world that she should not be discussing all this with strangers on a bus, but I wanted to hear whatelse she had to say. LOL.

There is an article in the local paper there in NC that states that Jawad and Melvin Scott has a meeting with Doh to express their concerns and would be staying at UNC. At least that was for publication.

hey mom... wow, i'm kinda surprised that would make the papers! sounds like it must have been pretty serious to generate "news." and i must say that is it in line with all that has been rumored on this thread.
