Is there an Army or Navy message board?
I'd be curious to see their thoughts on the possible scheduling agreement talks.

Not a whole lot of fan discussion on either the Army or Navy boards.

Both seem to feel they would be out of their league playing even a partial BE schedule.

Also they seem to think it would restrict scheduling, but I'm not sure about that one.

Navy - Army, Air Force, ND + 4 BE teams leaves 5 teams still to schedule.

Army - Navy, Air Force, BC + 4 BE teams leaves 5 teams still to schedule.

Seems like scheduling flexibility is still there, just that neither teams wants to start the season with 5 likely losses each.

Which, again, seems in line with what I've been hearing on this proposal for two years now - BE wants it, the Service Academies do not.

Not sure why the West Virginia articles are making it seem as though the issue is more with the football schools and not the service academies.

Cheers,
Neil

I don't think Army won a single game the entire time (6 years) they were in C-USA.

No, they beat a average UofL team once in OT in 1999. We did not become "Good" until 2004.

Now we are considered a Big East Superpower and a National Title Contender. 02-13-banana

Army owns victories over:

Louisville
Cincinnati
USF
Houston
Tulane

during their C-USA tenure.

Army owns wins over all of the teams previously mentioned, and also finished above Memphis in the 1998 league standings. The Knights only liked playing Tulane, as they beat the Green Wave 3 times in a row during one stretch.
