ESPN is reporting that the big 10 network will air on August 30. The goat herders must be green with envy.

I hope Comcast and the other big providers hold out successfully. Of course, if the Big 10 network gets free access, any other conference network should get free access too. Otherwise, it's not giving equal opportunity to all. That is contrary to federal law. I'm sure a good lawyer could make an excellent case for such.

None of these networks should be free... why should regular cable or sat suscribers have to pay for programing they don't want.. just so I can get it on the cheap. As a CUSA fan I want CSTV.. it cost 1.99 per month along with 2 other channels.. no reason to make BE fans who are not on CSTV pay for my viewing.

I agree. The Big 10 network can go jump in the Great Lakes for all I care.
