It was announced today that, FGCU was invited to play Iowa in the Third Annual South Padre Island Invitational this November . We very excited about this game. Hopefully I'll be able to make the trip. What are some other notable OOC games involving A-SUN teams this fall?

Congratulations, and good luck in the event. A tough tournament like that can be a good challenge that'll help a team get better.

I agree 100%. Hopefully our boys will be well seasoned by the time the conference season starts.

Campbell's only guarantee game is at South Carolina

USC Upstate opens it's season playing in the Top of the World Classic in Alaska. Our first game is against Akron. Oregon State is also playing in that tournament.

that's a good starter tourny. We played there and had some good games against some new teams. Definately helped prep for the regular season.

In the poll I posted, Georgia Tech Swagger said that he is a USC Upstate fan. Something tells me that the Yellow Jackets are his first love, though.

UCF won the Top of the World Classic a few years ago when we were still in the A-Sun. At least you can go there saying you wouldn't be the first A-Sun team to win up there. Hope you guys do well in Alaska.
