Saying "Calm down- you misspell a lot of words when you're mad" makes me a Grammar Nazi?

That's believable.

About as believable as posting a picture of Hitler is in good taste.

It's better taste than asking ETSU volleyball players out on dates when you are a journalist covering ETSU athletics, and claiming maybe it was you that killed Tim Mullins.

Hitler is in better taste than politely asking a woman out. I see.

And the second line is totally false.

I guess there's a reason why you're a DJ and not a journalist.

There shall not be any discussion of proper Engligh grammar when Pitt and Rod are in round 87 of the why DeChellis is the greatest coach of all time/biggest ******* of all time argument. Fan1, be the mod man, be the mod.
I have my theories on the team, it was the undying support of Rod and Treestreet going to games!

Tell you the truth, I think anyone who would use a picture of Hitler in a humorous way and then say it was more "ethical" than asking a girl out is sorely lacking in morals.

And on me being the mod...I dont really mod the board in the offseason. These off topic conversations get the board going. During basketball season is when I do my work, because some people actually come here to...get this...DISCUSS GAMES!

Me too...except when they turn game topics into how they are the greatest sports journalist alive02-13-banana...or into what Dave Mullins or the tennis team are doing.

I'm sure Buzz is a great guy, just a terrible coach.

He didn't succeed at Tennessee but enjoyed very good success at every other level building up to that job (thats why he got it) and that makes him a terrible coach? No don't think so.

I think you've gotten the facts confused about Buzz. Answer this: Did he ever have a good team after staying more than 2 years at a school?

Yep, he won 20+ games 3 years in a row at Appy and SoCon regular season championship and went to the NCAA the 3rd year then jumped. He made it the NCAA once and moved on after 4 years, DeChellis did the same except he took him 7 years to get the NCAA's and he only had 1 20+ win season.

Yeah, and Eddie D didn't have a new arena to recruit to, nor did he have the team Peterson inherited at ASU.

Peterson also only made the NCAAs once. He never made the NCAAs at Tulsa or Tennessee and had only the one appearance at ASU, where he was blown out in the NCAA Tournament.

Why would Eddie D need a new arena when he had the Oil Drum, which you seem to love. Petersen inherited a team that was coming off back to back 20 loss seasons so he didn't come into good situation either

I vote that Rod is winning. Just to remind everyone here we're ETSU fans, Tony Ingle is a fat, ugly man that reminds me of about 250lbs. of monkey crap in a 120lb body.

Then you are a moron.

Rod- How many eligible players did Buzz have? I know, I know, you think that's irrelevant.

And please explain how. Other than it blows your entire arguement out of the water so you want to shoot the messenger when it is brought up.

Much like Bartow isn't a good coach, but you will defend his recruiting, which is a defense of the way Mullins runs the athletic department.

But if I bring it up, you'll come up with ridiculous arguements or out and out misconceptions.

Like that dig on the arena. Where do I make Memorial Center to be the Carrier Dome?

I think it gets a bad rap and ETSU could do more with it. So does everyone else.

You're equating that with "it's a better recruiting tool than a new arena at Appalachian State?"

DISINGENUOUSNESS- THY NAME IS ROD SHAW!

Conversation with a recruit.

Why would you want to go play for Appy, sure they built a new arena but did you see how small it was? only 8,000 or so. At ETSU we have one of the Top 50 arena's in size in college basketball.
We can pack 13,000 in there. Why go small when you go to ETSU and play in an airplane hanger?
I think they could sell that.

Don't know how many players he had but they had went a combined 17-40 over the last two years so did he really want them?

BTW who was ETSU's 1 eligible player when DeChellis took over because I can remember 2 guys he inherited from LeForce that both seemed to be solid citizens. Reggie Todd and Kyle Keaton, so which one was it? Also didn't your favorite player Titus Shelton play 1 year under DeChellis? He played so seems to me he must have been eligible.

Can we take bets on this like a UFC fight Fan1? I vote Rodshaw, eventually Pitt will cower away like he did from Treestreet on the old socon hoops board, right before he got banned for being an idiot.

I cowered from Tree Street?

As I recall, Tree Street threatened me physically and I called his bluff.

Yes, that was cowering.

When you can't beat PittsburghBucs- lie about him!

Heck, that's what ETSU administration does.
