You know what I'm talking about. One or more players haven't qualified, only 1 McD's AA, the others barely rated in the Top 100.

Not a bad class, just doesn't meet the gurus' expectations.

Most of what I have seen has our class ranked between 5 and 10 nationally.

Shouldn't we expect JUST a little bit more?

We did have a better year than Duke didn't we? Yet they have a jillion McD's AAs, we have, wow, 1 (who hasn't qualified).

Even the worst coach in the ACC, Dohboy, has a better class than ours, according to the experts.

WHO GIVES A **** WHAT THE EXPERTS THINK???? (certainly not Juan Dixon, Lonny Baxter, Joe Smith, etc..)

Our class is one of the best around in terms of what we needed. And NCM will be one of the best players that Gary has ever brought in IMO.

I wish I could share your confidence, but IMO, next year we won't win the NC (although I'm sure we'll do well), and we WILL hear all about our deficiencies in every area imaginable. We should anticipate criticism of our recruiting class, fans, etc.

How competitive is it up there in Maine? Not to dog out the dude's skills, but I can't help but wonder if he is merely the king of the ant hill.

X had no size yes he could jump but he was very small build wise NCM is a big kid nice thick frame to add weight to Shultz will have this kid eating raw meat and biting off the heads of small animals before each game by time he is done with him...

NCM could easily be one of the best ever to play at MD...

(If you can;t tell I'm not a practicing member of PETA)

LOL

NCM will be fine....

SATerp, us having a better year than Duke wouldn't affect the 02 class as the majority of the players of that class verballed in the summer of 01, before the season started.
