That will be our record this year. I've been pretty good at predicting our conference record from year to year. I'm usually within a game. Last year I was off by 2 when I predicted 13-3. I think we'll lose 2 OOC games coming from either Texas, Florida, Notre Dame or Indiana. If the ACC wasn't so down this year I'd predict a lower conference record, but it is. Many teams lost players and we're one of the only ones that will have seniors starting.
On a side note, the five guys we brought in (Garrison, Smith, Caner-Medley, McCray & Gilchrist) would make the tournament. They are really F'in good!

Last year I was right on the money...32-4 and NCAA Champs. This year will be tougher to predict...I will get back to this when I thoroughly break down the team and schedule...

Nate, I'm surprised that you'd be that realistic about Duke's record. I thought for sure that you'd overate them, but it looks like you have them just about right. Ratface should do a lot better having 84 All-Americans on his team, but again he'll underachieve.

I guess all it takes is me to guess 3 games difference than you for you to go off on some dumb tangent. I guess jealousy will do that to you.
Yeah, K is such an underachiever, ya know, ending up #1 at the end of the regular season the past 4 years. GOODNESS GRACIOUS COACH K COME ON! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" />
BTW, SHAV, who will be ACC ROY, dropped 19 and 7 on AnTWERPan in England. A bit of foreshadowing...
edit cause I can't count.

I would have to agree with Nate on the Terrapin record this year. And you know what, that record will be fine with me as will that result in the NCAA's.
Look, when a team loses that many players while Arizona and Oklahoma return virtually the entire squad, it will not be another dominating year. Sports is like that.
The only thing I have to say about Coach K and underachieving is the same thing my father said. "He seems to always have a collection of prep superstars and NBA coaches kids, Wooden always had better players than the rest of the nation and he consistently kicked everyone's ass. That guy should have twice as many national championships by now."
Maryland won a NC without a McDonalds AA and Coach Williams resurrected a program that had all but been thrown on the historical scrap heap. He did it with guys noone else wanted, who were either too short, too fat or too slow.
(another reason I hate it when Duke fans profess love for Juan Dixon, they never would have looked at Juan Dixon and Coach K never would have considered recruiting him, he would not have been "Duke material" so stop telling us how much you love the guy)
I will stick with Coach Williams and his boys than Coach K and his pile of hand picked prep superstars.
Ryan Randle: "I guess we are Burger King All-Americans."

Nate, it has nothing to do with your prediction (which could be dead on). You have a lot to learn son.
