Yes. I know.

And Perkins and Curry were losers, and Gene Stallings was too old, and Mike DuBose was a cheater, and Dennis Franchione was only about the money, and Mike Price went to a strip joint, and Mike Shula wasn't his dad, etc. etc. etc.

And Joe B. Hall was just too stodgy, and Eddie Sutton was a drunk, and Rick Pitino is just a carpetbagger, and Tubby Smith is past his prime, etc. etc. etc.

Fran left because he saw the writing on the wall about the added sanctions and his wife cracked the whip, it'll be funny as hell when Saban does the same thing. Most Bama fans realize that running Stallings out of town was a bad idea, and in fact there was a school of thought that after the Mike Price debacle he'd come back. Now think about the above mentioned coaches, Eddie Sutton landed Kentucky on probation, as did Mike Dubose at Alabama, Joe B. was old but shouldn't have been ran off, Perkins and Pitino both took pro jobs best I remember, Kentucky basketball wasn't Kentucky under Tubby, as Alabama football was dropping off under Curry.
Mike Price's shenanigans produced the greatest quote of all time... "Roll Tide Roll," says the lady of the evening, "Oh it'srollin baby, it's rollin." In the end of the coaches you mentioned that INVOLUNTARILY LEFT, only two were a mistake,Mike Shula and Bill Curry.

Actually they're reasons for dismissal, you should understand that by now, but of course it's always either the fault of Rodshaw, Bill Hagy, Dave Mullins or Paul Stanton

I lumped basketball and football together when it comes to Tennessee

With the amount of money ut is able to spend on sports if they do not win the SEC then shame on them. Go Bucs. (This is an ETSU board?)

It is hard for anyone outside of Memphis to understand Memphis Basketball. I'm a big ETSU basketball fan, but until you live in Memphis you can't understand.

Also the TBR schools need to stick together, because of the major financial benefits that go to the UT system year after year after year. ETSU, Memphis and all of the TBR schools get screwed every year in the money from the state. UT gets WAY more money per student than any of the TBR schools ever thought about getting.

Bottom Line, like it or not, UT busts their tails to raise the money privately, and outworked us. I'm not going to make excuses and complain about ETSU's lot in athletic and academic life, instead of this fingersnapping and bitterness towards UT, it's time for ETSU and Memphis to step up and do something about it. Tiger, you guys have the resources to compete, bottom line. Memphis has the opportunity being in C-USA to build and be VERY SUCCESSFUL (See Southern Miss, Louisville), it's just time to do it. Less worry about what UT is doing, and worry more about putting blue shirts on the people in West Tennessee. [/i]

If ETSU wasn't so resigned to its lot behind UT, they'd raise tons more money.

Pitt that's a leadership issue. It's up to ETSU to quit lifting its' metaphorical skirts up for the bigger school in Knoxville and do the things to A: increase its' enrollment which with the right efforts will B: increase the fanbase.

More or less that you hate everyone who doesn't like hockey. Your points on certain things, while maybe have some merit more or less turn into you either attacking Rod, or blaming the ETSU administration over your employment status.
