OT: NL OR AL?
As a Brave fan from back when they would always finish dead-last in the NL West, I enjoy the NL. I love watching the inter league games, because I don’t have as great of knowledge of AL teams as I do NL teams. I know the AL has been stroking the NL as of late. Which league do you enjoy watching and why? Part II in a “Can’t wait until football” series.

RE: OT: NL OR AL?
I prefer the NL due to the DH rule in the AL. The NL is more of a pitchers league to me, where the AL is all about jacking the most homers.

I love the NL too, but the reason the NL is a pitchers league is because the hitting isn't as good as the AL. I once read that if you look at the success rate of AL and NL pitchers when they change leagues, you'll find that the guys who were average in the AL are better in the NL and guys who were average in the NL, suck in the AL. This trend is starting to even out in the past couple years though. (I haven't checked that myself though.)

RE: OT: NL OR AL?
the DH is so much crap.

its gives such an advantage to the AL:

can carry less bench players on a team, which means more pitchers
Everyday players can get a day off and still bat, huge for catchers
no decision on pitch hitting
no decison on the sacarfice bunt
just extends power hitters careers

by the way eagle there is a MLB forum
