I actually did a piece in Sports Talk where Alan LeForce came forward and asked they NOT count that as a win, as it would look cheap.

I actually heard some discussion of trying to put up a "Sweet 16" banner off that forfeit.

What are we talking about...I was referring to the year we lost by 12 to the fab five....What is this forfeit stuff? Did ETSU get by on a forfeit on its way to the sweet sixteen with Harley SKeeter Swift?

The N$C$A$A investigation of Michigan's recruiting of the Fab 5 resulted in their forfeiting games in the season ETSU played them. Goldfinger, it turned out that the Fab 5 was literally the best team money could buy.


Thanks for the clarification Pitt. It might have looked cheap (and I agree about the banners, no reason for them), but pardon the pun ETSU didn't get Michigan's share of the Tourney money. I guess Michigan still needed it to pay their Fab 5.
