Sween will have a year of experience under his belt and that will help. I believe they will have a good running game.

Wyoming at Ohio will be a good game between the MWC and the MAC. Winner would be in good position for a bowl.

Wyoming fans are giving Ohio some pretty big props... and yes it could play a very big role in the 2 teams Bowl hopes.

A lot of folks are picking the Frogs for 07 but I think there are too many holes to fill on offense. I just have a feeling that the Utes will be standing as MWC champs by the end of the season. I hope I'm wrong!

That looks about right to me, although i would switch the lobos to #4 and the cowboys to #5.

Not a homer call, just that UNM returns 20 starters from a team that played in a bowl (yes vs a SJSU team that was ecstatic about going to a bowl game in a long time) in a "rebuilding" year.

Ohio will give Wyo more than they bargained for. The Bobcats will be the class of the MAC IMO.

I was high on Wyo (they were better than their 6-6 record indicated last year), but I think their lines are suspect, and it is hard to win if you can't control the line of scrimmage. I think UNM and CSU will finish ahead of Wyo.

I love the optimism. But, I think there's a better chance of us going 11-1, 7-1.

RE: 2007 Mountain West Football Forecast
Personally I think TCU will go 10-2 with a loss in Austin close and another that we drop in conference for some reason or another. This will likely get us to LV as the conference champion or to Fort Worth to play in the hometown bowl against a Pac 10 team. Road trips to BYU and Wyoming in conference will be tough. Getting Air Force earlier in the season right after Texas also has the possibility to be a trap game.
