Heisenberg ranks him in the middle of the pack for 2008 in the relatively weak NAHL. His point totals are rather unimpressive for an older player while his PIM is off the charts for a player of his smaller size. He seems to be quite the physical player despite his lack of size. Obviously there is something to his game that the stats just don't show, otherwise he wouldn't be getting recruited to a major conference hockey program. Being from out of state and being recruited this early means he likely on at least a partial scholarship.
