UConn-Duke for football next year
Eh...05-nono

Goodness. Well, both our teams were very young last year, and I know you return a decent offense.

Basically, us (UConn) breaks down like this:

We played well in these games:

Rutgers
Wake Forest (outgained them by over 100 yards. We let them slip)
Rhode Island

OK in these:

Pitt
West Virginia
Army
Cincy

Badly in these:

Indiana (still won on the road)
Louisville

And HORRIBLY in these:

Navy (lost 41-17)
USF (lost 38-16)
Syracuse (Any loss to them is a bad one)

What happened with you last year. I saw your team only once against Miami and was impressed (even though Miami really wasn't good last year). That schedule is tough and I realize UConn is one of the easier games there, though we could/should go to a minor bowl...if we gave you our schedule, you'd do OK.

I'm just rambling but would like your thoughts on Duke football. I saw UVA last year and that should be a win for UConn. I'm more worried about Duke, seeing as you improved last year as the year went on and they didn't.

We're afraid you may beat us! Please don't!

Duke played horribly against pathetic teams such as I-AA Richmond Spiders, and played amazing against the state of Florida. Duke had the ball, down by 5 with seconds to go, threw a pass in the endzone, a Nole jumped in front the Dukie a foot into endzone thus causing a Duke loss. they had a chance against Miami and other good teams.

I heard you played well against Alabama.

The Miami game is where you lost by 5, I believe. It was an impressive showing.

Looked like Duke started off decent and then fell completely apart.

Duke defending the Red Zone great in the 1st half. Didnt give up a touchdown. 14-8.

Huskies finaly got a TD on a long pass/run. thats when Duke lost all momentum and the game. I was at Wallace Wade-hence the no updates...
