Terrific article by Boswell on how Basball keep shooting itself in the foot. Talks about how baseball squandered best WS in years and the feat of hitting 73 homers by Bonds last year. Makes specific comment on prices of tickets and stadium food/souveniers.

There's no such thing as a terrific article by Boswell. The guy writes with an agenda, and it completely biases everything he does.

Whether he writes with an agenda or not...that article is dead on. If it wasn't for Cal, I wouldn't have been to any games the past few years...and now I don't know if I ever will again, it is not the sport it used to be.

LT, Agenda or not, his article today is well written and points to a major league debacle in the works. As baseball sees attendance shrinking something will need to be done. Boswell does a good job laying out the problems.
