So, once again, are you to say that Duke, the winners of how many games in football in the last three to four years, have football tradition... not by your own fans recollection. Oh, but it is different when it is your team, darn, I keep forgetting these things. Thanks for getting me straight on this one. BTW, Maryland did win the national title in football in 1953 and were runner-up in 1952, even though they beat the declared national champs, Tennesee. The stipulation there was that the champion was determined before the bowl games. The Terps beat the Vols in a bowl game that year.
