When talking about Boozer, he said that if you're not going to go in the first round, you should stay in school. Besides, Carlos could have had his PhD if he had stayed one more year.

But why stay in school when you've graduated, who cares aout the extra year of eligibility, you get paid to ride the bench in the pro's, you don't get paid a thing in college. Boozer's decision also is a subject of his family, they could use the money, the heating bills must be rough in Alaska.

Mullet,

First of all, the Boozers do not live in Alaska anymore. They had an all expenses paid move to Durham when Carlos was a freshman. Second, if you cannot see the virtues of staying in college when you are not a first round draft pick, you are too dumb to comprehend any kind of explanation. Since you called me out the other day, expect me to respond to all of your posts from now on.

Bring it? I guess you fried me again with that brilliant statement. It's funny how you didn't address the rest of my post. Could it be that you know I'm right?

THB,

I agree fully with BPD. Boozer should have stayed. Granted he could have gone first round, another year would have secured him that. You aren't gauranteed **** if you're drafted 2nd round. Boozer could be packing for Europe any day now.

Terpy,

I'm not 100% on this, but I heard that his agent bought that for him, who might get screwed over if Booze gets cut.

He wasn't his agent at the time, officially. It's almost like recruiting. The agents buy the guys stuff to get in their favor.

Terpy, I am not taking anything away from Maryland. I understand and acknowledge that they were the 2002 national champs, and the best team in the country last year.

I am just saying that Duke did win the ACC tourney last year and that is an accomplishment.

With 2 of the top 3 picks and "the best backcourt in America" ( <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" /> ) they should have done a lot more

No matter which team wins the tourney, it is an accomplishment.

If it isn't, than why does the ACC have it?
Why are "ACC Tourney champs" banners hung?
Why does it automatically give the champion a birth into the NCAAs?
Why do the champions get a trophy?

If you are going to argue that Duke should have done more with such a talented team, then I agree wholeheartedly. But please don't be so irrational to say that being ACC Tourney Champs isn't an accomplishment...because if you do, I am not even going to bother reading the rest of what you say.
