Mens Basketball Winning Percentage
Place your bets. The schedule should be out sometime soon so if you want to get real fancy with it, you can wait till then.

RE: Mens Basketball Winning Percentage
That's what I'm thinking... It should be over .500, anything less would not satisfy me. Conference play, we should be well over .500 and start winning the close ones. Maybe not falling behind so much at home and closing the games on the road.

RE: Mens Basketball Winning Percentage
You need to redo that poll. The options should be:
Under .500
.500 - .600
.600 - .700
.700 - .800
Over .800
The way you have it now you could answer below .700 and be right whether it was .214 or .699.
Ill vote once it is corrected...good idea.
This is the time of year when expectations are higher than they should be, but he good thing is that we have seen constant improvement of our team (even when it wasnt reflected in the win column). I think we will see more improvement next year, and hopefully it will start to show in our record.

lol, choose the best possible scenario. I'll redo it when the schedule is released so we all have a better idea of what we're getting into.

I'm in the same boat that I'm going to have to wait till the schedule is released. I would love to play Georgia again. Doubt it will happen anytime soon though.

I love that quote, "I can't believe we're going to lose to Kennesaw State" by whoever their star was sitting on the bench. Now I can't find it anywhere.
There's no way we'll be playing UGA anytime soon unless it's early in the season and Ingle can bait and switch them again. They had no idea what was coming except for the coach who tried to warn his team. It was their first game without their star Mercer.

takais Brown said that quote
uga wont want to play us anytime soon. i mean they thought they were just gonna come in and get an easy 30 point victory and take advantage of a newbie d1 school. didnt happen and now that we got our feet wet in d-1, a chance of an upset is even greater.
I'm hoping to play Ga State this year.

I have been in talks with a few of the basketball players… here is what I gather… Minnesota and tubby, Auburn, and UNLV are the big ones for the year.

wow, good games. Going to have to wait till closer to the season to see our chances. Still exciting. Wonder who's going to get suckered into coming here other than ETSWho, who has to come here.

RE: Mens Basketball Winning Percentage
Good luck getting a bigger school there. I remember when we had Michigan State come in 97...they were ranked in the top 5 that year. Of course when we were ranked in the top 25, we had a bunch of schools come in, but its very hard for a mid to low major to get decent home games.

RE: Mens Basketball Winning Percentage
Here's where we are playing UNLV and Minnesota. "Duel in the Desert" Dec, 28-30
Quote:The Runnin' Rebels will stay home to take on Tennessee-Martin out of the Ohio Valley Conference on Saturday, Dec. 22 before hosting the Duel in the Desert, which will feature Minnesota out of the Big Ten, Nicholls State from the Southland Conference and Kennesaw State from the Atlantic Sun Conference.
The Duel in the Desert will be a three-day round-robin tournament with two games each day. UNLV will face Kennesaw State on Friday, Dec. 28, Nicholls State on Saturday, Dec. 29 and Minnesota on Sunday, Dec. 30.
This will mark the third straight year that UNLV has faced Minnesota. Last season, UNLV defeated the Golden Gophers at the Thomas & Mack Center. This year will mark the first for new Gopher head coach Tubby Smith.

RE: Mens Basketball Winning Percentage
My take is that a lot of things are finalized years in advance (conference games) and some games take a lot of convincing, deal bargaining and the likes. It's waiting for those games to finalize before they release a complete schedule. I had a copy of the girls soccer schedule but lost it already. lol...

SNIFFING GLUE??? That is in all out cocaine addiction. Kennesaw will be playing 5 on 8 that game GUARANTEED. It is possible to keep it close if we catch them napping a little bit, but it is difficult to get a fair game at the home of an SEC opponent. The exception to this rule was our game vs. Georgia last year, but the odds of getting two fairly called games at two different SEC opponents in back to back years is about as likely as me hitting the lottery (I have never bought a ticket).

Already making excuses before the game has even been played
