Dixon deserves the Wooden award.
Jason will be the better pro, but he chokes like mad on the FT line and cost Duke a lot of games. This award is not for "Who will be the Best Pro", it should go to the best college player.
Juan has the better all-around game. Plus, Jason has much more better supporting cast (2 1st ALL-ACC players, 2 ALL-ACC Defensive Players, and a hall of fame coach).
Also, does Jason play any defense? No. Juan does.
Also, look at Juan's leadership. He lead his team to an ACC-regular season title and a the National Championship game.
Give JUAN the WOODEN!

I wouldn't be totally surprised to see Duke ranked number 1 in the final ap rankings even though they only made the sweet 16.

They both would deserve it. I'll admit that. But Jason is the one who will take it home.

So Nate, what did Juan fail do that you would expect him to do to win this award? I'm just wondering. What are his shortcomings? He led his team to a National Championship. Every time things were going bad, he made a play or a series of plays that got the ship going in the right direction.
Is this game about winning? Or is it about putting up nice box scores?
I can understand thinking that J Will should win it. Especially if you're a duke fan. I disagree, but I can understand a duke fan having that opinion. What I cannot understand at this point, after the season that he's had, is the opinion that Juan doesn't have a shot.
To the victor goes the spoils.

Of course Juan has a great shot. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he wins it.
I was joking with hoops. We are friends outside this board and have a few inside jokes. Don't mind it.
