You guys played Clempsun off their feet today and should've won that game...just a matter of about 4 plays turned the whole game around. I was really pulling for the upset this afternoon. Stick with the gameplan that was used today - a ACC win is within your grasp.

We were jobbed on one "non-fumble" call that would have given us the ball, up 7, with 7 minutes left. Instead, the idiot refs called it down, when it CLEARLY showed on the replay that he wasn't down yet. Clemson went and scored on the next play. :bang:

The college refs suck this year...all over the country (especially in the Big 10 and ACC). Tech got jobbed on 4 or 5 pitiful calls yesterday. One was Tech getting called for roughing the passer when they came in and pushed Rivers with one hand right after he let go of the ball. Even the announcers couldn't believe it. :rolleyes:

I remember that. The announcers were stunned.

but there was a obvious fumble by Duke right before the tieing TD in the final minute that was ruled incomplete pass.

he grabbed it, turned ran then got hit fumble, the refs called it incomplete-maybe it was a makeup call for the other one.

Yeah, it was Calen Powell, and it was a fumble. Also, it was a makeup call, I admit.

The thing is, the chronology of it is so that the makeup call never would have happened had the correct call been made in the first place.
