Baseball Quiz
I'm going to ask a question a day (maybe more). Test your baseball knowledge and try to answer without looking it up.

Question #1:
As the owner of the Chicago White Sox, Bill Veeck was responsible for giving what well-known major league manager his start in 1979?

Since this is day 1, here are a few more.

#2:
Pete Rose had the most career hits as a switch-hitter. Who's next?

#3:
This man played for the Dodgers, Cubs and Boston Celtics, but became better known as a TV star in the 1950's and 60's. Name him.

#4:
Who was Major League Baseball's second black player, after Jackie Robinson?

#5:
What major league team signed David Ortiz as an amateur free agent in 1992?
