Whatever happened to former Wake QB C.J. Leak (I think that was his name)?

He was a highly touted recruit...he chose the Deacs over Notre Dame, then in a game against Clemson in 2000, he blew out his knee he screamed about foul play by the Tigers. Then he decided to transfer, but I haven't heard anything about him since. Anyone know what ever became of CJ?

Both the Leaks went to my high school!

C.J. transferred to Tennessee after his sophomore season when Caldwell got fired. The reason you haven't heard about him (and probably won't ever again) is because he is buried so deep on the quarterback depth chart that the FBI would have a hard time finding him. I feel bad for him concerning the injury, but I resent the way he acted towards everyone in the program. I'm glad he's gone.

By the way, I remember that day well. It was Junior year (February 3, 1999). I return home from class and see the red light flashing on my answering machine. When I hit play, someone said, "Did you hear that Ben Sankey will be playing wide receiver next year?" I confirmed that it was true and immediately start drinking my ass off. Then, that night we got the living sh*t beat out of us by UVa in Charlottesville. It was such a bittersweet night, I went to Freddie B's and stayed until it closed. I didn't go to class the next day. I am embarassed to admit that I celebrated that day.

Well of course it could not work out with him. He was not that good anyway, and word was that he could not hit the broad side of a barn in practice.

I just cannot believe that he went to UT ahead of USC. He had Holtz at USC and a good chance of seeing playing time since Petty graduated. It was all a Chris Leak lottery for the CJ transfer anyway.

He will be elligible to play this year.

If you truly are a fan of the University of Kalifornia in that godforsaken liberal wasteland known as Los Angeles (which I truly doubt), I can guarantee you that we would kick the living sh*t out of your pansy blue asses in football. Out here, we actually play a rough brand of football that involves hitting and tackling, unlike the communist version of flag football you play. The Pac-10 is a joke of a conference and the left coast should be nuked off the planet. Also, I guess it's just a coincidence that you have flamed everyone except Duke.

I wonder why the NOLES cant play more of the PUNK 10?? We beat USC twice, NEXT??????

I hate the PAC - 10, all they do is talk. Besides didn't we have to deal with some other pac10 weirdo about a month ago? Bruin - wake up and smell your conference.......it SUCKS.
