My program puts NC State at #24 and UVA at #33. Sagarin is crueler to both teams at #30 and #42 respectively.

Clearly State is playing better ball than the Hoos and IMHO will be one of the four ACC teams at the dance this year.

Virginia is definitely out of it now. 6-7 with Duke and Maryland remaining. 7-9 wont make it with their weak SOS.

Man it feels good to be going back to the tourney.

The hoos face both Duke and Maryland in a one-two punch before the tournament. I don't see the hoos winning either of those games, certainly not the one against the Terps closing Cole, and they don't have a much better chance against Duke, even at home.

Would even beating one of either Duke or MAryland in the ACCs guarantee a 7-9 conference team a spot in the NCAAs? I think they'd have to beat them both.

By that reckoning their chances are kinda slim...
