Morneau wins AL MVP
dark horse

I cant think of anyone else who came out of nowhere to win the MVP. Did anyone see this coming?

Personally, I thought Jeter had it in the bag.

I didnt realize he was second in the AL in RBI, but still I think I would have had him third behind Jeter and Big Papi.

He is good but has a lesser known player won the MVP before?

Please, Morneau was great but he wasnt even the most valuable player on his own team.

Papi was the most valuable on his team, so he is ahead of Morneau in my book right there.

you probably didn't recognize, but the twins began getting hot and making their playoff push at exactly the same time that morneau got hot.

besides, papi is a DH. They shouldn't win the MVP.

I think everyone seemed to think that. But can you be a MVP, when you know if the person misses the whole season, they still make the playoffs?
