This had to be one of the worst rated World Series ever. Very little buzz.

that's what it deserved. It was boring. one good team and one awful team. i mean, the cardinals are the worst WS team i've ever seen.

Is this what everyone wanted when they called for parity? When you call for parity you get mediocrity. That's why i wanted the yankees to dominate this year and crusie through the WS.

How is it parity when the Cardinals are in the mix every year?

Detroit was a suprise team, but in the end, they lost.

I'll give the Cardinals credit, they came together and won when it mattered. The week off probably hurt the tigers a lot more than it helped, but Im still going to give the Cardinals credit.

because they haven't won the WS in a minute. plus, everyone says there's parity in the NFL, yet the pats, panthers, colts and a couple other teams are always in the mix.

The difference is the worst to first possibility in the NFL, it happens every year, sure it happened this year with Detroit, but it is very rare in baseball. In other words there is no chance that Pittsburgh or Tampa Bay or Kansas City is going to be competitive next season, but there is a chance that Miami or Cleveland make the playoffs in the NFL next season.

actually, there is a chance the pirates will be competitive. look at their second half record. and there is no chance the Browns will be good. what about the arizona cardinals. when are they ever good? How about the texans. baseball has had 7 different champions in the last 7 years. something no other sport has ever done.

you're probably right. but what you're forgetting is, in the NL 10 games under .500 gets you within 7.5 games of 1st place.
