I didnt see it. Was it a helmet to helmet call? Or some other kind of late hit after the initial hit?

Neither, Justin Smith just tackled the quarterback and forced a fumble to boot (that the Bengals recovered) and a roughin the passer was called. Can anyone explain this? lmfao

they said that he drove him into the ground. Technically speaking it should've been called unnecessary roughness but they though that people wouldn't understand that call, or something like that. Also, it wasn't a fumble. He was down when the ball came out and gametracker on nfl.com even said that it was a sack, not a fumble.

There were more plays than that one in that game. a penalty on first down probably isn't a gamebreaker, if there wasn't that penalty it would've been 2nd and 16, hardly unachievable.

Don't try and tell me that was unecessary roughness. All Justin Smith did was tackle him. Gradkowski curled his head as he went to the ground and then he fumbled it. The fumble probaly wouldn't have stood though.

reading comprehension FTW. The REFS said that it was unneccessary roughness, not me. I'm not sure about the call myself but they said that Smith drove him into the ground. It wasn't ruled a fumble anyways by anyone except for Cin. players.

Nope, the Bengals other crappy performances will/did. On that note I really can't say too much b/c of how the Panthers pissed away their season. Even though they did get a W yesterday.
