It sure isn't on Herb's back anymore.

I know a lot of you will say that the monkey was off the back when we finally got win #20 and the 9-7 ACC record, but there were still A LOT of fans who were saying that we still weren't a good team because we hadn't beaten anybody and a lot of our wins came over cupcakes.

WELL, we've finally won a big one. It wasn't a fluke either. We outplayed Maryland and should have beaten them by more if not for stupid turnovers and missed free throws down the stretch. They still have a great team, but Herb did an excellent job of mixing up the defense today with a zone and man-to-man. Although we didn't get a lot of steals off the trap at halfcourt, it still disrupted their offense a little.

What a HUGE game for the Pack. Not only does it do a lot for the team's psyche, but it also helps us in the NCAA seedings.
