If he hits 62 home runs, will you recognize him as the home run king? Should he be and will he be?

I'm not sure where I sit on this.

it's ludacris to even think like that. if howard does it, people will mutter about him taking steroids, and so everyone will be wondering if the next person with 62 should be the HR king. Howard said it best, all we have to go on is a positive test. if a guy passes, he's clean, if he fails he's not. once we go down the road of specualtion, there's no turning back.

Why wouldn't he be recognized? Unless I missed something, his name never came up when mentioning Baroid or the other juicers. The Maris Family has stated they believe he would be an admirable person to achieve the record.

who cares what the maris family thinks? stop joining the group of people who accuse countless baseball players of taking steroids, but never point a fat finger at NFL players. look at marion jones, whose 'B sample just came up negative, meaning she's been cleared of all allegations. you were probably one of the idiots who jumped to conclusions in her case. you seem to only believe in the whole innocent until proven guilty thing when it suits you.

if i were a betting man, would i say bonds took HGH? probably. but i'm not going to take away any of his achievements, until i have real proof, not just visual evidence.
