yea but a runco projector + processor helps the source out alot specialy on a nice screen as well.
i forget the model, its one of the Red/Green/Blue lense ones though.

If can afford Runco and processor (I hope you got a Faruodja (sp?)) then you can deo better than Synergy Series in Klipsch homes :banned:

I dissagree on points 3 and 7. HD DVD and Blu Ray are "tripple the res" of traditional dvd. Dvd was about double the res of of VHS and about 50% better than laser disc. Poorly mastered dvds look completely inferior to ther new dvd formats on a HDTV..on any other kind of tv dvd and the HD/BR dvds will look the same.

I won't say the two new formats will fail but the rub will be is

1) BluRay $3-500 better than HD DVD?
--I SAY NO, I have seen both and you couldn't get me to beleive that Blu Ray is worth the price increase.

2) Initial Price as compared to Standard (..and up-convert) dvd players on the market.

3) Recordable versions not yet on market/No confirmation of the ability to record HD programming to ether when they release the recordable versions

4)Image Constraint Token/HDCP to lock out 720p/i & 1080p/i if you are not using HDMI ( of wich only newer tvs have 1 and even fewer have 2+).

5)Number of release titles in either format (wich will proabbly be on delay till someone sees a clear winner in the format war)

6) Aniticpation of dual format players.

7) Customers waiting on inevitable price drops on the hardware.
