Pixar's Cars
Pretty good movie.

The short of the plot: Uppity Rookie Lighnint McQueen has to go to California to win a tiebreaker race for the Piston Cup against 2 other cars . One of which is the veteran champ and the other is the "always 2nd" car. Along the way McQueen gets off the interstate and ends up in Po Dunk Radiator Springs where he learns he's not the hot sh** and is basically asked to save the town. However while he's "stuck there" the public thinks he's MIA for the Piston Cup finale. Well he ends up at the race with a new race crew!

The CGI is awsome for the sheen and sparkle on the cars paint jobs and also in the textruing of everything else. THe voice acting is pretty good. Defiantely stay and watch ALL THE credits...very good outtakes, deleted scense mocking past Pixar movies, and great end of credits sequence.

They also have some homage's to Fast and The Furious, NASCAR, Formula 1, SUVs that "aren't", classic cars, rust buckets, and John Ratzenburger always in Pixar movies.

Defiantley reccomend folks checking it out.

*******

Anyone that hasn't seen it, Cars is "Doc Hollywood" redone with animated cars. Fun movie, if nothing new other than the animation......which was amazing. The scenery shots looked real.

But my rankings would be different
1) Toy Story
2) Toy Story 2
3) The Incredibles
4) Monsters Inc
5) Cars
6) A Bug's Life
7) Finding Nemo

Although there's not much distance between 1 and 7 to tell you the truth. They're all pretty darn good.
