i know it's early, but after seeing how vulnerable the braves are, i have to say that this might be your year. glavine needs to hold up.

Make that a four game lead. Unless our starters don't stop spotting the other team four or five run leads, we won't stay in this race for long. I agree with swoosh, it is the Mets year. This Braves team is a disaster right now, quite frankly. The Phillies are too inconsistent, and the Nats and Marlins are the two worst teams in the NL. The Mets have a golden opportunity to break this wide open before June.

Glavine and Pedro will not hold up. Bank on it. Mets will finish 2nd by 5+ game lead for the Braves.

Man, I hope so...but our pitching has been horrifying. I get sick to my stomach watching them. Our bullpen has actually been good, but we're not going to win anything constantly falling four or five runs behind in the first two or three innings, even as great an offensive club as we have.

Leo Mazzone(sp?) was the key for the braves. The braves should of pony up the money for this guy.

I don't know if we could have ponied up enough to keep him. He wanted to be with his good friend Perlozzo in Baltimore.

The Braves seem really confident in McDowell, and I trust their judgement.
