Just an outsider opinion...I don't see any reason why they shouldn't have taken the interim tag off Andy Kennedy and kept him as their coach. Cronin is a solid hire, though. He's been a good young coaching prospect that a big program has been trying to snatch up for a long time.

I agree, as most UC fans would. AK should have been the next Head Coach. This decision was political. AK never had a chance, unfortunately.

Word. If our administration woulda snatched AK up in midseason, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in right now, what with looking for last second HS'ers and picked over jucos (probably vise versa but I don't feel like going back and changing it, but I'll continue to type all this out). Mick is a good dude, a solid coach, we'll be alright, we've seen what he can do. Hopefully Dev Downey stays.

I mean, it's a win in the scorebooks, but you didn't really face the real Cincy team. Actually, after Marquette, nobody did.
