Moussaoui Trial
"A federal judge on Monday put on hold the death penalty case against September 11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui, declaring angrily she found it "very difficult" to proceed since a government lawyer improperly shared information with witnesses. "In all the years I've been on the bench, I've never seen such an egregious violation of the court's rule on witnesses," U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema said."

Is the government EVER going to understand they can't do whatever the hell they want?

:kneelsucka: Says King George to his loyal brainwashed servants(Neocons). The brainwashed servants I am talking about the people who do this :patriot: and don't think the government can do anything wrong and that after 9/11 laws are for traitors.

Here's what is going to happen after your post (obvious flame bait). Someone is going to be offended at the different names you just spouted off, and they are going to flame back at you. Then you are going to scream that this is a right wing get away with anything board. It's not going to be pretty.

Would you like to rephrase your post before it gets to that?

I'd say no, GB. Let him say whatever he wants. I think ALL need to see what true liberals believe these days. He essentially just defended a terrorist.

Hey, all I can do is warn the guy about what he is about to start. And so it begins.

So you don't think the government should follow our laws and procedures? I don't want to see him get off. The guy was almost 100% going to get the death penalty but now that may be in question because the government doesn't think they should follow the rules and laws. Why is that so difficult for this government to do? Is that too diffiult for you to understand?

P.S. If voting for the crappies hasn't ended, don't forget to nominate me for the "most liberal" crappy. I already have 1 vote.

If you thought about it I was not defending the terrorist. Not even close. I was blaming the government for possibly letting the guy get off with a life sentence instead of getting the death penalty. Understand? I want the guy to get the punishment he deserves. It just appears the government was trying too hard to do it and they ****** up, possibly letting the guy get off with life.

:Edit: Ugh, and I was having such a good streak of not having to warn people. Watch it buddy. Make your point, but don't attack posters with unsubstantiated claims. - T-Monay820

Robert, you ain't winnin' that award. ;-)

Anyway, you're right.

FWIW, I could have predicted the "you're defending a terrorist" and "you're unAmerican" and "see, liberals are unAmerican" posts from a mile away.

I'm sorry, but the only people who would defend a terrorist are those who refuse to follow the Constitution. The only anti-Americans are those who accuse those who have a dissenting thought with treason (if you don't goose-step along with Rove and the Gang, you're a traitor!). Why haven't the conservatives around here called this guy: http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2006...ment_x.htm anti-American? He's not taking the concept of secession off the table, and last time I checked, having an official state religion is QUITE unAmerican (and it reminds me of the Taliban, but I digress...).
