Hell, no I didn't forgot that I wrote this. You say I look like an idiot... so... that's only YOUR opinion. By the way, I've been called worse than an idiot... especially by other so-called Nole fans who are constantly cutting down our coaches, players, etc. So calling me names really doesn't faze me any more.

All the crap you wrote about how GREAT the canes are and how they were going to beat us up just made me wonder if you would have the nerve to show up here again. You did - that's GREAT.

I did check the date. My comments referred to your insinuation that I would not show up on the board and to your comment that you don't attack unless attacked first. If you read the preceding posts, you'll notice that I never attacked you or the Noles. I have great respect for the Nole Fan base and the program itself. All kidding aside, that game almost gave me a heart attack, and I still check the paper to make sure we won. Btw, ESPN is showing it again on Friday night at 8pm EST.

Hornsounder... I was insinuating that you don't know me or my preferences, not that you wouldn't show up. Like I said in my other comments, I am a BIG fan of Miami except of course, when we play each other, then I'm a die-hard Nole's fan. I couldn't believe when I went over to Warchant.com, all the Noles rooting for the gaytors to beat you. I, on the other hand, knew you would kick their butts. I get a lot of flack from some other Nole fans cause I not mind admitting my preference in liking the Hurricanes.

On another site I used to post on, I had made friends with a few Cane fans and one in particular on the baseball board. I can usually tell how good the Noles are by the time we have our 6-game series with ya'll. Of course, last year really didn't tell me much since the Canes were having a down year. I almost always attend the Miami vs. FSU series in Tallahassee, even though I live closer to Miami.

In talking about attacking unless attacked first, I was referring to your comment about if the Noles won, you would be here to be ripped into. I was trying to explain about me not ripping people unless attacked first. I'm an old Nole, been around, older than dirt according to my 26 year old son.

Football I know, cause my father taught me 42 years ago when I was 11 and living in Montgomery County, Maryland. I'm kinda ashamed of myself, but I do a pick'em on Warchant and against ya'll I actually picked Miami to beat us by 6 I believe. Came in #30 which knocked me into the top 100 overall (7 weeks). My God, I couldn't believe it. I even got our total 1st downs exactly right. I was off on the total yards by 19.

Oh yeah, I watched some of the game again on Sunshine Network. And thank God, our kicker came to his senses and won't leave school like another one did. It must be hard to be 19 years old, and miss a kick that could have, should have, but didn't... :bang:

As far as Beitia is concerned, I'm glad that he is staying. Having read some of his latest comments, it looks like he will overcome that kick. The true test will surely be when he has to kick another high pressure field-goal. Looking at the rest of FSU's regular season games, I'm not sure he'll be in that position. If you guys play the way you played us, Lord help your opponents. Especially the Swiss Cheese Gators. Please promise me that you guys will beat them by three touchdowns or more. :laugh:

Thanks again for the explanation, and I'm looking forward to much banter between us the rest of the way and when Base Ball starts up. I hope that the Canes will be better than we were last year.

Btw, I'm going to be the first one to say that if UM and FSU win the rest of their games, there is a good chance we meet in the National Chmpionship game. If that happens, please tell Greg Jones to stay home
