(1) QB competition. Rix will still be the starter, but McPherson and Fabian Walker will give him a run. I see (1) Rix (2) AD (3) Walker, with Henshaw the 3rd stringer
(2) Lotsa offense. How are they going to get the ball to all these wideouts. Boldin and Morgan come back, and Thorpe, Sam, Gardner, and the rest of them all got real playing time last year. Look for a lot of 4-5 WR sets this year.
(3) The secondary will be improved. McFadden will be better, and Dominic Robinson will also be starting, at least at nickel.
(4) Better run-stopping. OJ Jackson looked good in scrimmages at DT, so he should remain there. Jackson and Dockett make the middle solid. Moore, Howard, and Emmanuel forify the outside. Can't also wait to see Jerel Hudson get some work at MLB.

Here's some stuff from Friday's practice
<a href="http://seminoles.fansonly.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/032902aaa.html" target="_blank">http://seminoles.fansonly.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/032902aaa.html</a>
Interesting note, Country star Kenny Chesney practiced with the team. He's a big FSU fan, so for fun, he came out and worked with the team.

Mickey would get given the chance, but IMO he needs to stay as Asst HC/DC. I don't think he has the media-savvy needed for HC. I've seen people say Mack Brown, but he can't win the big games with the ton of talent he has there.
Bobby will give notice about a year or two before retiring, as to give Hart some room to hire one of the best coaches out there. Florida didn't get much notice, and I'm sure FSU isn't going to make that mistake.

took the Texas job, to rebuild them and then
come back home. But, even though he can recruit,
it is apparent he has trouble coaching...(Pat
Kennedy-Type). Tommy, was a possibility, but
Clemson...ain't really Clemson anymore...
One thing is for certain..."It ain't gonna be
O'Leary!"

Do you think Jeff Bowden will ever make it to Head coach material?

I think he might, but its not going to be at FSU, at least not now. JB has to show that he can help pilot the FSU offensive machine to a NC like Richt and Amato did. I say he goes somewhere next season, say... West Virgina (just picked a school) to show he can do the job.
The FSU head job when it becomes open will be very coveted, and I'm sure Hart will love to bring in a top college coach or NFL OC/HC, and Jeff needs to prove he belongs.

Jeff still has a long way to go. Still has a
lot to prove.
The Problem will be...WHO WANTS TO REPLACE BB?
Gaytors just learned that lesson! Stoops is
going to G-Ville! He will replace "The Zooker"
in three years! But, he wasn't going to replace
SOS (Seminoles Owned Spurrier)!
We can match and will match any Salary. But finding one to replace Bowden will be the problem.
Agree that this will be done properly. Plenty of
lead time...plenty of research. It may very well turn out to be Mickey! He only has 10 years tops left in him! He could maintain what has already
been established...and then bring in the top name in the country to follow him!
What we do have is one of the top five AD's in
the country. It's been one helluva ride and it
is only going to get better.
135 Days to kickoff!
