Did anyone else see Bowden get plowed over by the Duke tight end late in the FSU/Duke game? It reminded me of when Tommy Lasorda got hit by a bat in the 2001 All Star Game. It was funny because luckily neither Lasorda nor Bowden were injured.

I can just picture Bobby saying something like "Dadgummit! That's the hardest any of them Duke boys have hit us tonight!" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[laugh]" title="" src="graemlins/laughing.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[laugh]" title="" src="graemlins/laughing.gif" />

Paul, very good observation, not many men over the age of 70 would have got back up right away. I think Coach B made a statement to his players..They see their coach go down, but they also saw him hop right back up..Dont mess with Coach B, Dadgummit!!

Yes, I saw that. As much as I admire Bobby, I must confess that I laughed about it. <img border="0" alt="[laugh]" title="" src="graemlins/laughing.gif" /> I was kinda hoping that they would show it on the Bobby Bowden show, but they didn't.

WOW, Duke has some mighty big players, especially their running back. We were having to gang tackle him because one guy couldn't bring him down by himself. I don't understand why Duke didn't continue to run the ball. Their QB was making some aweful throws; no wonder they couldn't catch the ball. But he did throw one touchdown into the end zone... a jump ball and Duke came down with it... their last touchdown.

Go Noles... Moving on up in the polls!!! <img border="0" alt="[Cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/cheers.gif" />
