Rt1 and I were in line at the BSO last night and there was a couple in front of us. The dude was wearing a goheels.com t-shirt. The couple stopped at the gate and didn't have their tickets. We happened to have an extra ticket, so we gave them one of ours and they only had to buy one more. I said "here.. you can have this even though your husband is a tarheel." She laughed and said "I'm a terp, does that count?" I wanted to say.. "not if you married a 'hole," but I just smiled instead.

Anyway... I got a flat tire today.. which was my second one this week.. so my spare was on my van already.

Four new tires and $325 later, I can't help but wonder if the two incidents are related.

Yes, but God created Tarheels because everything must have an opposite. I'm sure somewhere in Ecclesiastes it says something like...

There is a time to every purpose under heaven...
...A time to be born, a time to die...
...A time for peace, a time for war...
...A time to be a Terp, a time to be a Tarheel...

remember that part??

No, but if you read closely, I think it says that Jesus put tar on his feet when he walked on water....

I'm thinking you may be right, Pooh. True story here: I'm reading this thread and think to myself, "I really am an evil, awful person. I just called Papa John's & ordered a pizza and some poor delivery guy is going to have to come out here in the worst thunderstorm we've had yet this season." As I thought that, a huge clap of thunder & lightning flashed, and all power went out. That was a half hour ago, and power just came back on a few minutes ago. I'm just praying that the delivery guy makes it here safely now.

What did you order on your pizza Lucy? I might have to stop by for a slice....although the 5+ hour drive might be a little much considering I have to get back up at 4 am tomorrow AM

Whew, pizza man made it here safely and the storm appears to have passed as well. Floodwaters on the street are subsiding too.

And I highly recommend the new Spinach Alfredo pizza, on thin crust of course!!!!YUM-MY!
